At the International Showcase of Architecture & Design 2012, within the Cultural Olympiad in London, Serbia was represented by the project METAHOUSING by Milos Spasic, archaeologist and curator of the Belgrade City Museum, organized by BINA and the Museum of Belgrade. The commissioner of performances of the Republic of Serbia was Jelena Ivanović Vojvodić, director and founder of BINA. The exhibition was organized in November of the same year in Belgrade at the Gallery of Science and Technology, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The focus of the METAHOUSING exhibition was architecture, a built environment that traces the time span from the Neolithic to the 21st century - from the Neolithic settlement in Stubline, through the modernist moves of the sixth and seventh decades, to the idea for futuristic agora of the Centre for Promotion of Science in New Belgrade.
