In year 2019, Serbia was presented for the second time at the Piran Days of Architecture (PDA) international conference in Slovenia, but for the first time with a student selection. Serbian architects also competed for the eminent architectural Piranesi award (31st season of the award) within the PDA (37th edition of the conference). The PDA starts every penultimate Saturday in November and is organized in the charming Tartini theatre and at other venues of the medieval seaside town of Piran since 1983. The purpose of the conference is to evaluate the current architectural trends and to present the most innovative ideas of architectural and spatial production in the region of Central Europe. The PDA Conference presents and promotes contemporary high-quality contextual architecture and cultural diversity.
